Transportation Planning - Project Endorsement Letters

The City of Houston has developed policy guidance and a process for requesting Letters of Support for agencies who plan to pursue funding opportunities for transportation projects that could impact City of Houston rights-of-way (ROW).

The policy guidance is used to assist City staff during evaluating requests for letters of concurrence or support. This guidance is necessary to establish due diligence and oversight of projects within or connecting to the City’s ROW.

To submit a request, applicants must complete the Transportation Project Endorsement Letter Request (PDF) and email the completed form to mobility.planning@houstontx.gov.
