August 29, 2013 - Houston police are investigating the death of a man found at 10700 Bellfair about 1:30 a.m. today.

The male's identity and cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant T. Poole and Senior Police Officer T. Tyler reported:

HPD officers responded to a call of a person down in the 10700 block of Bellfair. Upon arrival, the officers found the male victim lying in the middle of the road. The victim had suffered trauma to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.
