August 29, 2013 - Houston police are investigating human skeletal remains found at 9550 Fannin about 3 p.m. on Wednesday (August 28).

The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences will conduct an autopsy on the remains.

HPD Homicide Division Officers K. Daignault and J. Dominguez reported:

A worker was checking a pipeline near the above address when he came across the skeletal remains in an open field. The identity and cause of death of the remains are pending an autopsy.
