August 29, 2013 - Houston police have learned the identity of a woman found dead at 2605 Quitman about 8 a.m. on Monday (Aug. 26).

The victim is identified as Yvette Vasquez Palacios, 24, of Pasadena. Her cause of death is pending an autopsy by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants J. Rhoads and J. Burton reported:

Ms. Palacios was found unresponsive by her boyfriend. He attempted CPR prior to HFD paramedics responding to the scene.

The investigation is continuing, pending results of the autopsy.
