December 9, 2025 - Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a female that occurred in the 600 block of Hahlo Street about 11:05 p.m. on December 8.

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants C. Lafour and R. Olive and Detectives R. Waterwall and T. Tyler reported:

HPD patrol officers responded a stabbing incident near the intersection of Hahlo Street and Lyons Avenue and found a female with more than one stab wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported her to Ben Taub hospital where she was pronounced deceased.

Witnesses told officers an unknown Hispanic male fled the scene on foot. He was wearing all black.
