November 6, 2025 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman at 6400 Eastex Freeway (North U.S. Highway 59) service road about 10:10 a.m. on Wednesday (November 5).

The identity of the victim, 33, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives K. Stringer and J. Caten reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at a business at the above address and located a woman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced her deceased at the scene.

At this time, there is no known suspect(s).
