Vic serves as the Director of Supply Chain Enterprise Services at CenterPoint Energy, a Houston-based utility company providing energy solutions to customers across Texas, Indiana, Ohio and Minnesota.
Among his responsibilities, Vic leads the Digital Procurement, Asset Recovery, Supply Chain Optimization and Supplier Inclusion efforts at CenterPoint. Additionally, he actively supports business development councils & committees helping to cultivate an impactful ecosystem of local, small and diverse-owned businesses that undergird our economy.
After a decades-long, distinguished military career as an Officer in the US Air Force, Vic left to join the corporate market, launching this phase of his career with Shell Oil in the company’s Contracts & Procurement function supporting refining and chemical plant operations along the Gulf Coast region. Fourteen years later, with considerable Category Management and Supply Chain Management experience under his belt, he began his current role at CenterPoint Energy in November of 2020.
Vic is a purposeful advocate for the inclusion of small and diverse-owned businesses. He is board-chair of the Mid-States Minority Supplier Development Council, board member at the Asian Chamber of Commerce of Houston and supports various industry business development committees to advocate for inclusive business strategies. In 2021, Vic was featured in DiversityPlus magazine’s Top 25 Diversity Change Leaders.
In his spare time, Vic remains very active in his church and community service initiatives.
