The following holiday schedule is provided for your information and convenience. Please keep this schedule handy so you will be informed of changes in your solid waste and recycling pickup services.

     Know your service collection days.

  • Christmas Day - Thursday, December 25

  • New Year’s Day - Thursday, January 1
  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Day - Monday, January 19
  • President's Day -- Monday, February 16
  • Spring Holiday -- Friday, April 3
  • Memorial Day - Monday, May 25
  • Juneteenth Day - Friday, June 19
  • Independence Day - Friday, July 3
  • Labor Day - Monday, September 7
  • Veterans Day - Wednesday, November 11
  • Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, November 26
  • Day After Thanksgiving - Friday, November 27
  • Christmas Eve - Thursday, December 24
  • Christmas Day - Friday, December 25
  December 2025
Tuesday , December 23, 2025:
  • All regularly scheduled curbside collections will be serviced.
Wednesday, December 24, 2025 (Christmas Eve):
  • All regularly scheduled curbside collections will be serviced.
  • Neighborhood Depositories, Recycling Centers, and administrative offices will be closed.
Thursday, December 25, 2025 (Christmas Day):
  • CITY HOLIDAY: No collection services. All facilities and administrative offices will be closed.
Friday, December 26, 2025:
  • Thursday’s garbage, recycling, yard waste and bulk waste collections will be serviced.
  • All facilities, including Neighborhood Depositories, Recycling Centers, and administrative offices, will reopen.
Saturday, December 27, 2025:
  • Friday’s garbage, recycling, yard waste and bulk waste collections will be serviced.
  January  2026
Thursday, January 1, 2026: (New Year’s Holiday)
  • CITY HOLIDAY: No Collections on New Year’s Day.
  • All facilities and administrative offices will be closed.
Friday, January 2, 2026:
  • Thursday’s recycling, garbage, yard waste, and bulk waste collections will be serviced.
  • All facilities, including Neighborhood Depositories, Recycling Centers, and administrative offices, will reopen.
Saturday, January 3, 2026:
  • Friday’s garbage, recycling, yard waste, and bulk waste collections will be serviced.
Saturday, January 4, 2026:
  • Friday’s bulk waste routes will be serviced.
