Jury Information: Juror Compensation

Jury service at the City of Houston Municipal Courts is for one day only. Each juror will receive a check via mail for $6 for their service. Please bring the jury summons form with you on your assigned date and submit to the jury administrator upon arrival. Jurors will also receive a Certificate of Service, and, if requested, an employment verification form. The City of Houston is extremely grateful to those who serve our Courts and encourages all prospective jurors to fulfill their civic duty.

For any individual scheduled on or after March 9, 2026:

• Each juror will receive a prepaid debit card of $6 for their service.
